About Me
The Woman Behind the Paralegal
Born and raised in Tampa, Florida, I grew up along the sunny shores of the Gulf Coast. Before becoming a paralegal, I studied Criminal Justice and obtained my degree from Hillsborough Community College. Initially, I planned to pursue a career in law enforcement. However, as I took more classes in my field of study, I realized my passion for the legal field and sought opportunities to work with local law firms.
During my first year of college, I worked full-time for a high-volume personal injury firm and have been dedicated to the legal profession ever since. I have gained extensive experience in areas including personal injury, criminal law, and family law, working from Florida to New England since 2014.
In addition to my professional work, I am a mother of two, a wife, and an avid volleyball player in New England, where I now reside. I believe in maintaining a strong work-life balance and have established my own LLC to work independently as a paralegal. I am committed to meeting client deadlines while also prioritizing my family.

Discovery Process
- Reviewing of discovery materials, such as police reports, witness statements, and evidence, to identify relevant information and ensure nothing is overlooked.
- Drafting and managing discovery requests, including subpoenas and requests for production of documents, and ensuring compliance with court orders.
Document Drafting and Preparation
- Drafting legal pleadings, motions, and petitions for filing in court.
- Assisting with the preparation and review of contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
Administrative Duties
- Handling the filing of legal documents with the court, ensuring that all paperwork is properly submitted and processed.
- Tracking time spent on various tasks for accurate billing and case management.
Confidentiality and Ethical Compliance
- Ensuring that all client information and case details are handled with the utmost confidentiality and in compliance with ethical standards.
Client Interaction and Communication
- Assisting in scheduling and preparing for client meetings, and acting as a liaison between the attorney and the client to relay information and updates.
- Helping clients understand legal processes and their case status, and assisting with the completion of required forms and documents.
Case Management
- Maintaining and organizing case files, including evidence, correspondence, and court documents, ensuring they are easily accessible and up-to-date.
- Keeping track of important deadlines, court dates, and appointments related to the case to ensure timely action and compliance.
Case Investigation and Evidence Gathering
- Locating, organizing, and preserving evidence such as physical items, documents, and digital records relevant to the case.
- Identifying and coordinating with expert witnesses, such as forensic experts or psychologists, who can provide testimony or analysis.
- Conducting thorough research to gather facts, review case law, and investigate the circumstances surrounding the case. This includes interviewing witnesses, locating and obtaining evidence, and examining police reports.
Case Evaluation and Research
- Assistance with evaluating the merits of a case by researching medical records, accident reports, and other relevant documents. I also perform background checks and gather information on the defendant’s insurance coverage. (Personal Injury Cases)
